Volunteer With Us
Volunteers are an integral and valued part of our team at Carpenter Hospice. Our volunteers embody the admirable traits of compassion, kindness and selfless service.
Currently, over 80 active volunteers support our residents and their families, and you will notice our staff and volunteers working closely together.
Volunteers contribute their time and talents in many areas, including reception, kitchen, property and building upkeep, Garden and Flower Teams, special events, fundraising, and administrative duties.
As part of our requirements, volunteers are carefully screened and trained to support the unique joys and sorrows of an end-of-life journey
We have all been touched by the death of a loved one. As a member of the volunteer team, if I can brighten the day of a resident, family members, Carpenter Hospice staff, and volunteers in a small way, it is rewarding.
