Planned Gifts
Making a Planned Gift
Planned gifts need not be a financial obligation to you now; however, it can offer you substantial tax benefits as part of your long-term financial plan. Such gifts allow you to make a meaningful contribution regardless of your age or financial situation.
By arranging a planned gift, you will directly impact many in our community who will face a life-limiting illness and help support families experiencing grief and loss.
Planned Giving Options
There are many planned giving options to consider, including:
Bequests: A flexible option that can be arranged during your lifetime. Bequests can help save estate tax and increase inheritances.
Life insurance: You can make small contributions now to give a larger gift later. You can designate Carpenter Hospice as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
RRSP, RRIF, or TFSA: You can name Carpenter Hospice as the beneficiary of your RRSP, RRIF, or TFSA.
When considering a planned gift, you should seek advice from your financial advisor prior to connecting with our team.
Planned Giving Support from Our Community
“Putting Carpenter Hospice in my will was an easy decision. Living in Burlington for over 40 years and having many experiences with the Hospice through family and friends showcases just how important it is for our community. Supporting the care they provide well into the future is important to me and my family.”
