Carpenter Hospice receives only partial funding from the Ontario government. Each year, we must raise additional funds to provide home-cooked meals for residents, counselling and wellness programs for families, ongoing facility maintenance, and many other vital services.
We rely on a dedicated group of enthusiastic volunteers who are integral to our hospice team. Their countless hours of service are crucial to enhancing the care experience.

For those who prefer to provide a cheque, please include your email address on your cheque or on your donation form to receive your tax receipt within one week.
Print receipts are issued by mail and may take up to four weeks from the date your gift was processed by our Hospice team.
Only gifts of $20 or more are issued tax receipts.

Donating securities directly to Carpenter Hospice provides some tax relief on capital gains, improves the return on your investment and protects tax credits for use against other taxable income.

In-Kind-Donations
If you have item(s) that you are looking to donate to us, please reach out to us, as we are not able to take all items due to limited needs and storage space. We cannot accept medical equipment, used items, or clothing. If you wish to donate food items, they must be fresh and not leftovers or homemade, per health regulations.
