Make a Donation
Thank you for Considering a Gift to Carpenter Hospice.
We are incredibly grateful for your interest in supporting Carpenter Hospice. Each year, we need to raise over $2 million in addition to government funding to ensure we can continue providing compassionate palliative care to those in need. Your generous donation helps fund vital programs and support services that are provided at no cost to individuals and their families during one of life’s most challenging times. Your contribution truly makes a difference, allowing us to offer comfort, dignity, and peace to those who need it most. Thank you for helping us fulfill our mission and for being a part of our caring community.

General Donation
A general donation shows your support for the organization as a whole, providing assistance with operating expenses, supplies, programs, and services.
In-Memoriam Donation
An in-memoriam donation provides a way to memorialize someone’s life. Whether recent or in the past, remembering a loved one is a beautiful gesture of support.
In-Honour Donation
An in-honour donation is in celebration of an event, milestone, or person. For example, if someone asks that donations go to Carpenter Hospice in lieu of birthday gifts, an in-honour donation would be the appropriate selection.
Planned Gifts
Planned Gifts can be made in lifetime or at death as part of a donor’s short or long-term financial and/or estate plan. Some examples include a bequest, life insurance, retirement plans or cash.
Gift of Securities
A gift of securities offers you substantial tax benefits as part of your short-term financial plan before the current tax year ends. Making a gift now will directly support the compassionate palliative care and support programs at no cost to those who need it most.
The impact of your donation.
Resident Care
Providing care for resident’s is our very foundation. Ensuring they are comfortable; their pain is managed and they can enjoy time with their loved ones as they near the end of their journey. Your donation provides care, supplies, nourishment, medication, and so many more things during such a difficult time.
“I am truly grateful for the care my father received during his final days. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and volunteers who helped us through this difficult time. You have no idea how much your kindness and caring meant.” – Resident’s Family Member
Programs & Services
Our Community and Supportive Care team provides incredible support through our Grief and Bereavement, Music Therapy, Spiritual Care and Wellness programs. These programs are not directly funded, so your donation has a huge impact on our ability to provide essential care.
Carpenter Hospice has helped me through the toughest of times after losing my father. The care and compassion they all provided was incredible and I will never forget it.

Community Support
In addition to supporting those within the confines of the Hospice, our team provides community education and support throughout the year. Whether it’s connecting with a family to provide music therapy in the home, or hosting an education session for seniors to better prepare them for what’s ahead. Your donation supports your neighbours, friends, family and community.
These sessions really help me understand how things work and help me plan for the future in case I’m in need of the Hospice someday. They do a great job at supporting us seniors and making sure we have the information we need.
