Carpenter Hospice is only partially funded by the Ontario government. Annually, we raise funds to provide home-cooked meals for our residents, counselling and wellness programs for the whole family, ongoing upkeep of our facilities and much more.
We rely on an enthusiastic and dedicated group of volunteers who are integral to our hospice team. Their many hours of service are essential to delivering our elementary services.
When you consider a gift to Carpenter Hospice, you support compassionate hospice care and ensure we can provide wrap-around services at no cost to our residents and their families living in the Burlington community.

Make a Donation
Thank you for considering a gift to support hospice and palliative care in our community. Annually, we rely on the generous support of donors just like you to fund approximately 65% of our operating and programming costs.
It truly takes a community of support to provide exemplary services that relieve suffering through the palliative care journey and end-of-life care.
Major Gifts
Major gifts provide a unique opportunity for you to support while receiving substantial tax credits as part of your short and long-term financial plans.
Gifts today can help provide immediate support to programs, services, and operations. These can be cash or securities.
Future major gifts help ensure compassionate palliative care for future generations by way of bequests, insurance, RRSPs, and RRIFs.
Community Fundraising
Hosting a community (third-party) fundraiser is a wonderful way to show your support for compassionate hospice care in our community. These events provide significant financial assistance to the programs and services we offer at no cost to our community.
We encourage third-party events that will promote the work of the Hospice and increase awareness of our programs and services.
