McKeil Family Centre
for Community Care
The mission to address the most urgent needs in the Hospice’s support system:
Respite Care, Wellness Outreach, Bereavement and Spiritual Care, and Music Therapy is at the heart of the McKeil Family Centre for Community Care.
Opened in 2022, the Centre is home to our community counselling services and features the Admiral Room, which is used for community gatherings and caregiver support workshops.
Propelled forward by a matching gift challenge of $750,000 from Blair and Kathy McKeil, their leadership gift inspired other impactful donations and helped re-imagine palliative care.
“Our commitment to Carpenter Hospice is deeply rooted in the respect that we have for its leadership, staff and treasured volunteers who give so much of themselves every day to ensure their clients receive the skilled care they deserve.”
– Blair and Kathy McKeil
